Nigel is an experienced private chef with an impressive culinary background. With over 25 years in the industry, Nigel has honed his skills by working at some of the most renowned restaurants in Europe and around the world. His passion for cooking began at a young age being trained at the Famed Walnut Tree. Throughout his career, Nigel has cooked for distinguished individuals including celebrities like our late Queen, Prince Charles, Emperor of Japan, and George Bush. His cooking style can be described as ingredients-driven, full of flavor, and highly seasonal. Nigel's dishes are known for their accuracy, bold flavors, and playful presentations. Nigel's unique cooking style is inspired by his experiences working in famous restaurants such as The Walnut Tree, Gidleigh Park, Cliveden, Homewood Park, Isle of Eriska, Le Manoir Quat Saison, and Knoon the day ckinaam Lodge, all of which are highly acclaimed and boast 1 and 2 Michelin stars. With a particular love for seafood, Nigel's favorite dish to cook reflects his expertise in this area. He takes pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients and creating unforgettable dining experiences for his clients. Never could I recommend Nigel's chef services more. My husband and I frequent the deli often due to an amazing selection of products and grab to go items. Also doesn't hurt that Nigel makes the ambience epic with banter and joy in what he provides to his clientelle. We had our intimate wedding dinner here with close friends and family on site. The luxurious dishes were beyond delicious and presented in such a gorgeous manner. The team at the deli was so pleasant and presented themselves in a way that instilled the impression of professional etiquette, but also comfortable friendliness. We understood they genuinely enjoyed providing us a wonderful experience. It's a memory that I'm thankful for Nigel and the Pickled Crab team for giving to our family and friends that we all won't forget.

We had Nigel and team cater for my wife’s 50th Birthday and what an amazing job they did The food was amazing prepared and presented immaculately , everything was fresh and full of flavours and plenty of it All our guests commented on how good the food was with a few saying it was the best food that they had eaten at an event Nigel’s team also worked hard and helped with the event which was a great help Will be definitely using Nigel and team for next event Thankyou very much

We used Nigel and his team for my sister's hen do at a country house and it was superb. Everyone loved the food and having the waiter service and all the cleaning up done was just amazing. Really made it an extra special weekend. Nigel was able to cater for my vegan option and was very flexible with the menu. Would definitely use again if in the area

Nigel was absolutely superb. The quality of the food and his professionalism throughout was outstanding. He works with high quality ingredients and his skill in preparing them is to the standard of a high end restaurant. A bespoke 3 course dinner was created for a birthday celebration and everything was taken care of. The kitchen was spotless afterwards. I would highly recommend the Pickled Crab and will be using them again
